Nina Hoffmann

One of the most exciting talents to emerge from the Santa Cruz grassroots program, Nina Hoffman is taking that talent and continuing to turn heads on the downhill scene. Always an athlete – she started in swim club and competed at the German national level in javelin and hurling. But once she was introduced to mountain biking, she found a new calling—pointing mountain bikes down uber-steep stuff and going very, VERY fast. Hoffman’s first World Cup race was in 2018, and her speedy ascent to the elite level of the sport stands as a testament to just how fast she descends. After joining the prestigious Santa Cruz Syndicate in 2022, Nina has since racked up a second World Cup win (Ft William 2022), and will surely add more in the years to come.
