The word “legend” gets thrown around a lot these days, but in the case of Greg Minnaar, it’s a moniker that’s well and truly earned. With over two decades at the top of the elite downhill racing scene, the South African phenom has won it all. Known simply as “the GOAT”, he’s got more DH World Cup podiums than anyone on the planet – 77 in total, and 23 of those were on the top step. He’s won three DH World Cup Series overall titles and has been crowned UCI DH World Champion four times. These mind-blowing achievements have all come under the umbrella of the team he joined back in 2008—the Santa Cruz Syndicate, a relationship that continues to this day. He’s fast, he’s smooth, he's focused, and he’s the winningest man to ever bust out of a start gate. And he has a damned good time doing it. In other words, Greg Minnaar is truly a LEGEND.
